Han pasado 43 años desde que Marruecos invadió y tomó por la fuerza las tierras de los saharauis, a través de bombardeos y asesinatos. La población saharaui escapó de esta guerra y logró refugiarse en tierras argelinas. En Argelia, existen 5 wilayas, cada una representando una ciudad caída del Sahara Occidental. En estos lugares viven más de 70 mil saharauis. Los niños que han nacido en estos lugares conocen su historia, su deseo de recuperar las tierras que perdieron y de algún día ver un Sahara Libre.
